The exam period means mugging as always.. ive been slacking off wayyy too much but I cant help it.. Watched the L word Season 5 finish in less than 3 days.. been catching ANTM, Pussycat Dolls present: Girlicious (the season is over), Survivor, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl and Lost weekly too.. Yes, im pretty screwed..Project due in abt 2 wks n I havent written a single line.. wish me luck please.. Watched the Bank Job too.. God, its awesome!!! Love Statham~

One more thing, I have been addicted to Mahjong.. so unless u know how to play, whatever Im going to say in the nxt couple of lines, will sound like Russian to u~ firstly, there was once I was playing "Ban Si" (half big cards, half one suit), this are my cards at hand, abt three quarter to the game!

So of course I lost the game~~ n another time, we went drinking w the HK ppl.. god, the way they play mahjong was the REALLL way of playing dude! they were like robots.. pick throw pong throw pick~ theres no break at all~~n they play hugeee~~the most incredible thing was that i saw "Shi San Yao" (13 monsters?!).. Wing Lun won 42pounds from losing..fucking awesome i swear~

Dear Customer Services Manager,

Fristly, I would like to mention that I am a regular Patiserrie Valerie customer. I come to London for visits at least twice a month (ok, a bit exaggerated here) and it really a pity that although your products are amazing, the service provided is otherwise (suck to the max).

On 15 April at your Knightsbridge branch, my friends and I were having tea. I took us (forever) at least ten minutes to get your waiters' attention, be it to order or to ask for cutleries. I counted that there were three of them behind the counter and at least two attending to customers. When asking for our bill, we waited for twenty minutes until my friend decided to ask it from the counter herself. Even then, we had to wait a further ten minutes for our change.

On the same day, I made a telephone cake order. I reconfirmed my order four times as I asked for a fish picture to be drawn. The lady on the telephone assured me that she understood my request. When I collected the cake in the evening at the Soho branch, I was displeased when the icing on the birthday cake was nothing like what I requested. The tall, curly-haired woman behind the counter was very smug and unapologetic saying that it was MY fault I did not clarify with the the person on the phone. Instead of compensating for the mistake, she insisted that it was not her fault and that she was not the baker.

Hereby, I would like to bring it up that the quality of service at your confectioneries is not up to standard. Please look into this and I hope to see a change during my next visit.

LONDON TRIP TO MEET JON AND ROBBY (plus ED, LEE AND AH PING)

Whenever I am obliged to study, here i am blogging and messing abt Facebook.Theres a project due in abt 2 wks time too, bt fuck it. Ill figure it out somehow..

Day 1 (15 Apr):

Went to Robby's place to drop my luggage and then, we took the bus to Oxford Circus where I bought my gladiator shoes frm Dorothy Perkins..They freaking didnt have the colour I saw in the magazine; reason being that some of their products in the magazine were only sample models and that they did not really sell them in the market.. dammit~so instead, i got the beidge colour, itz still nice and a huge bargain at 25pounds, plus 10% student discount. oh, how i love being a student.

Went to meet Jon and Daph at Harrods.. Robby thought the building looked awesome, little did he know that the building was covered by posters as they were reconstructing the whole building.. muahahha..

When we're done w Harrods, we scooted off to Patisserie Valerie. Had smoothie, while the rest had coffee..Bloody hell, when they wrote smoothie, I should hav known that they would just empty a bottle of Innocent and call it fresh.. So, I paid 3pounds for 60p worth of smoothie! Cakes look really pretty but they taste ok only~ no big deal, DONT BE FOOLED PPLE.. but they do decent coffee =)

Before dinner, we checked out Ben's cookies at Covent Garden. There was a performance by this super crazy guy who would strip all the way to his gold tights in the freezing cold. But he was entertaining alright. Donated some of my coins. Dinner was at Goldmine, Bayswater. They do better duck than Four Seasons! n then off to Prince Edward or Albert pub for 3 rounds of beer..

Day 2 (16 Apr):

Started the day by taking the bus Oxford Circus again.. This time arnd, with Jeffry as well, Robby's French roommate. They pointed out Kate Moss' home; the funny thing was that they werent sure if it was the plain-looking house in the front or the humongous gorgeous house at the back.. Anyhow, itz not like either of them had seen her.

Met Daph, Ah Ping and Jon for lunch at Assa Korean Restaurant at Tottenham Court Road. My spicy pork rice wasnt that fabulous. In fact, it was rather bland..Prefer Little Korea at Chinatown. Daph got herself an iphone, coz there was a 100pounds off the original price, to only 169pounds. Jeffry later got himself one too. After lunch, Jeffry left to do his own stuffs, Robby went to work and the rest of us four went to London Dungeon..The whole experience was a great one. I had many 2 for 1 offers, so we each paid half the usual adult price, 10pounds each. I feel that itz nt worth 20pounds but def worth 10pounds! It was kinda like a guided tour where we went through maze, went on boat rides etc.. and they had life actors.. Highly recommended, provided u hav the 2 for 1 offer, n take note that the queue was an hr and a half~ AND it was a Wed~

We then separated, Jon and Daph to Tottenham Court Road to get his iphone which he didnt end up getting. Ah Ping and I went to check out the oh-so-not-magnificent London Bridge haha~ He then went to see a bike shop before we headed to Kiasu South-East Asian Restaurant.

My mee pok (bak cho mee) was awesome.. told them to make it super damn spicy but oh well~ haha.. we also had char kway teow, tahu goreng, oyster omelette, carrot cake =) as for dessert, we had pulut hitam, chendol and ice kachang..Ed said that he couldnt breathe or move after all the food haha~ well, he really had a lot~ after that, we went for a pint of beer except Ah ping as he had a party to go to. it was pretty boring they were all tired except me!

After that, we separated. Ed and I went to Heaven and the rest went home to sleep. His friends were on the guest list and they brought us in for free, yipee.. One in particular was sooo cute and sooo gay~He told me that I was "so beautiful". I think i shld get a Caucasian boo, so they appreciate my oriental look haha! We waited for Lee and Robby to turn up after work. A super pretty drag queen invited us to her party at the Departure Lounge but we wanted to finish our wine n beer first. In total, we opened 4 bottles of wine, many cans of beers and 4 shots of vodka! The climax of the day was when Ed mixed beer into our wine..boy, we were all high straight after.. Plus the drag version of Amy Winehouse was sweet~ she was awesome! Robby was GONE by the end of the day! He peed in public twice, for god's sake! once outside heaven, once ON ED'S TABLE! he seriously stood and peed on the table! i was so fucking shocked and ed's pillow was right nxt to it, i swear ed could hav got some pee on his face~~We had to spend the night at Ed's.

Day 3 (17 Apr):

Woke up at noon that day, Robby was so embarrassed when we told him abt him peeing everywhere, puking everywhere and being dragged everywhere~ Thought he was too sick to turn up for work, but he managed to sober up by then. Met Joey, Robby's fren from Solo who was taking my place and crashing at his when I left. Patrick didnt pick up my call till very late so Joey was stuck with me till I had to collect my luggage.

Had super early dinner at Inn Noodle. dont think their noodle's great but their roast meats and xiao long bao were delicious! Told Joey of the Iphone offer and he got himself one~After dinner, we all went out separate ways. Jon had a flight to catch back to SG and I had to go to Patisserie Valerie, Soho, to collect Fitch's birthday cake. The fucking cashier was being such a bitch! I specifically reminded the woman on the phone that i want the message: Happy Birthday (and then draw a fish below it). On the receipt, she put Happy Birthday and then she drew a fish with the words 'to be drod' below it. the baker wrote the whole shit down, so it was 'Happy Birthday F(fish picture)sh to be drod'.. at first i thought it wasnt my cake but the cashier insisted it was mine. Plus, she kept raising her voice saying that it was my fault that i didnt reconfirm my order! hello bitch, i fucking reconfirmed my order on the phone 4 times! Come to think of it, Im gonna write the complaint letter as soon as Im finished here.

Ed and Ah Ping later sent me to St Pancras station. I missed the overground, which operates every half hour, so we took a cab. My aim to save the extra few pounds by buying my ticket early went down the drain as soon as i paid the cab driver 13.50pounds. but whatever, im not gonna spend another night at Robby's.. Sorry dude but theres absolutely no space for all three of us..
