The Last Exam

Yes, my last exam (bargaining) is on Monday and I have just started on the first chapter! Due to my ill-disciplined nature, here I am.. blogging.. yet again.. Ive wasted 5 whole days doing nth bt finishing the whole season 6 of CSI: Miami, starting on Gokusen 3 and mahjong-ing almost every single evening till last night.. kill me now! speaking of CSI: Miami, Vanessa frm Gossip Girl made a few apperances on the show and Shane frm L Word starred in episode 20, n her name was MARY..eyyww~

Ive bought the 6 tickets for Rockness on ebay.. We've saved about 25pounds each =) hehe!! and Im so broke!!!! urgh~

Forgot to mention that we've caught SEX AND THE CITY the movie on the day it premiered in UK~ the whole theater was 99.9% full~prob 5 or less seats left. We went in 10 min before the movie started and we had to sit two rows frm the frnt! plus.. the majority of the audience were ladies!!! it was sooo freaking fun when all the gals laughed tog.. super cool~~catch it when itz still hot~~

As usual, I have exam tmr bt i feel like blogging suddenly.. aish~i was just thinking abt it n i realise that ive lived w the 'farm family' for 3 yrs now~

n despite all the disagreements, i really wont make it past my 3 yrs here w/out them.. i mean there are of course other ppl i mean along the way bt theyre the ones who are always there by me, no matter how annoying, whiny and childish i have been~ it brings a smile to my face whenever i think back of the fond memories and it deeply hurts when we were going through the 'silent period'.. and im going to miss them when i stay here for another yr.. i mean i still have mi2.. bt the powerpuff gals wont be arnd no more~

PATISSERIE VALERIE

I have no idea what got me blogging almost everyday..but it doesnt matter anyway~~ Btw, I got a "love" letter from Director of Patisserie Valerie.. hoh0ho~nahh, jk.. it was a compensation letter for the complaint letter i wrote them..PLUS a 10pound voucher... double hoh0ho~~ it was LOVE alright.. stupid ah ping said it was ONLY 10 pounds.. hello, it can pay for my two visits there! haha!

And, I got scared by two stupid guys who were smoking outside the library.. i seriously did SHRIEK! it wouldnt hav been scary if it was at noon. it was freaking half 12 plus i was on busy on the phone~

ANTM and Survivor

As everyone knows, Ive been up-to-date with ANTM (s10) and Survivor (s16).. And Im totally happy with ANTM's winner.. WHITNEY! first full-figured model to win ANTM.. n shes absolutely gorgeous.. so is runner-up Anya, bt I think Anya screwed up the Covergirl shot~ the gals walked for Versace, all dresses handpicked by Donatella herself.. truthfully, I think Anya was forgetable during the whole catwalk.. and u can def not miss out Whitney, nt coz shes full-figured, bt coz she was fierce.. the pink dress is really pretty too.. here's the Versace Fashion Show

SAD LIFE IN LEICESTER

Sad because of my backache and because of my disgusting neighbour who contributed the most to the smell-like-rotten-crap fridge~

The only nice thing abt my current life in leicester, despite all of the above n the fact that exam is 1 wk away AND my project is due in 4 days, the weather is LOVELY~~ sigh =)

Thank goodness for Alvin and Kevin's project... or I can declare that my 2:1 is a farewell.. Their projects both help me soooo much, esp Kevin's, coz we're doing on the same topics.. but pleaseee... anyone who has any idea about Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and how to use PcGive to evaluate the PPP theory.. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

American remakes of Asian Movies

This has, unfortunately, become super common these days.. the most shocking yet is the adaptation of My Sassy Girl. No offense but the Americans made the movie seem really lame, while the Koreans did an amazing job..

There are definitely many more to mention, including the freaking popular Thai movie, Shutter. Then, theres the Lakehouse, which was called Il Mare in Korean. Someone did a good comparison of the two.. Il Mare vs Lakehouse And of course, The Grudge, The Eye and The Ring. If only, the Western people are more interested and open towards the Asian movie industry....
