EXAM RESULTS

I havent felt soooooo freaking HAPPY in a long time~~ I just got my results!! n I MADE MY 2:1~ thought was gonna get 2:2, I even thought that i might be dropped to 3rd class if I flunked both Bargaining and International Trade papers, THANK GOD! *thank u so much Dr Barbara Roberts for international trade!* And, Im pretty sure they moderated our bargaining paper, coz I def didnt do well enough to pass it~ Econometrics was as I expected, ok results, not fabulous but good enough but kinda thought that Corporate Finance would at least get a 1st~ oh well, Im in no position to complain.. HEHE, i just cant stop grinning!

DISNEY

I didnt realise that I was a Disney freak till I chatted with Ping last night. I was so fanatic till I know that the first Disney princess ever 'brought to life' was Snow White in 1960s, (1963 if im nt mistaken).. N I knew that Cinderella was up till itz 3rd sequel, Beauty & the Beast 2nd, Pocahontas 2nd, Lion King 2nd (bt there's 1 and half), Little Mermaid 2nd (3rd coming out in Aug 2008 ^_^), Mulan 2nd.. hmm, cant think of any more~

Anyway, I came across the sad story of the Little Matchstick Girl by Disney, itz soooo sad~sigh~~ people can be so cruel~watch it n ull understand~

They came for honeymoon here in London and Mum only told me the day before they arrived so I had no choice bt to go there by coach,coz train was abt 45pounds~ coach was only 18pounds~!

Googled their hotel's address and Google directed me to the "closest" tube station, Lambert North tube station.. bt hell, the closest was actually Waterloo! walked to the spot Google directed me n i stood right in frnt of a shabby looking house -___- Ci Jen2 then told me to meet at Waterloo Station's Burger King..

Brought them to Chinatown, Leicester Square coz it was close to lunchtime plus it was a tourist spot anyway~ Bought "Ying Yang" drink, the coffee and tea mix HK style drink, YUMMY~ they liked it v much =) Introduced them to the Pandan and Mango Layer Cake too, hadnt got their opinion yet tho~Had lunch at Four Seasons and told them that they're eating at Lee Kwan Yew's favourite duck restaurant in London =) I didnt hav much coz my body was rejecting meat and the only non-meat dish was the Pei Pa tofu, bt that had parsley in the tofu so barely touched anything at all~they totally loved the duck, YAY! hehe!

Showed them around Leicester Sq a bit, asked if theyre interested to catch any musical bt it wasnt their thing.. We dropped by a few vintage bookshops and Waterstone. Ci Jen bought 2 cross-stitching books coz it's currently her hobby~ Lost our way otw to Covent Garden. Asked the direction and we got to Covent Garden market.. They loved Ben's Cookies..double YAY! who could resist them cookies?!!? Then, brought them shopping coz it's summer sale~ Bought stuffs from Zara, M&S, Nine West and H&M. YongPing called when we were at H&M at abt 5 asking whether everyone's at Oxford Circus yet. And i was shocked coz i thought Daph or Patrick would hav called him, they were at home discussing what time to meet and all.. But, it didnt matter coz he came and met us.

Brought Ci Jen2 and Ko Felix to Piccadilly Circus to take some pictures at the billboards and then went to Oxford Circus to show them the massive shopping district~ We then tried to find our way to Lepainquotidien. It was our first time, bt Ive had their mocha a couple of times at King's Cross train station whenever I took the train to and from London. It took us a while coz again, Google directed us the long way~we could hav taken a shortcut frm the tube station but Google made us do a detour plus the small street was actually closed! Anyhow, when we got there, we had the best hot chocolate and mocha (the best in my life for me).. The temperature of the mocha was just right, the espresso chocolate tart was cold on the inside n crispy on the outside, just perfect~the flourless brownie was super good too!

After coffee break, we separated ways. Ping and I went to meet with Daphne and Patrick, while the two lovebirds went off to do a lil shopping before heading back.

We went to a bar and they ordered burgers and chicken wings..basically meat! and there i was, munching on cherry tomatoes, leaves of lettuce -___- my body was still rejecting both meat and alcohol, so I only had salad and peppermint tea. Met up only for a bit n then, I had to catch the coach back to Leicester, Ping sent me *thanks ya*. the 2 and half hours was simply terrible. My back was aching so bad and I was sooooo tired, urrgghhh~~ i promised myself to try my best nxt time to NEVER take the bus ever~ frm the coach station, took a cab back to Opal Court. The cab driver was such an asshole, he demanded 6pounds and being stingy myself, told him that i only had 5pounds in cash, so he dropped me off at the traffic light before Opal Court and I had to walk for abt 1 min.. it's ok considering i saved a pound~ i actually thought he was joking bt he wasnt.. anyhow, SCREW HIM~
